OVERVIEW
Edward has over 30 years experience in Criminal Law and specialises in Jury trials.
Edward joined as a founding Member of Equus Chambers in February 2016.
In June 2010 in Australia Edward practised as a Barrister & Solicitor before joining Albert Wolff Chambers in 2011.
In 2009 Edward travelled to the Solomon Islands for a ‘Special Project’ to analyse the prospects of trial in the remaining “Tension trials”.
In 2007 Edward travelled to the Solomon Islands as part or RAMSI (Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands) undertaking mainly murder trials from their undeclared civil war known as the “Tensions”.
In 2002 Edward worked as a State Prosecutor at the DPP.
In the UK Edward took a tenancy in the Chambers of Steven Hadley at 1 Middle Temple Lane and undertook both Prosecution and Defence, appearing regularly in ‘The Old Bailey’.
Edward emigrated to WA in 1996 and worked with Max Crispe at Kott Gunning for several years before returning to UK.
Edward took a tenancy in Grays Inn and was Junior Defence Counsel to Lord Ivor Richards QC and Robert Seabrook QC in various murder trials.
Edward undertook a pupillage with Kenneth Macdonald QC, now Lord Macdonald of River Glaven.
Edward worked as a Para-Legal for Gareth Peirce (played by Emma Thompson in the movie “In the name of the father”) Worked on the “Brighton Bombings”, Orgreave and Mansfield riot trials.

- Edward has conducted many hundreds of criminal trials including a number of complex fraud trials, murders, drug importation, drug dealing, offences of violence, people smuggling, serious sexual offences against adults and children
